Spatialize is a downtempo project by Neil Butler from the South West UK, initially inspired to make music in the late nineties by the psychedelic sounds of Ozric Tentacles and Banco De Gaia. Nowadays Spatialize is itself a purveyor of fine quality sonic / downtempo / electronica / global chill smattered with a pinch of psychedelia. The 2004 debut album Dryad’s Bubble was described by Ott as “A Classic, instant feel Good Factor” and 2006’s In The Midst of Myriads was described as a “compelling release, bathing in energetic luxuriance” by Morpheus Music. Keen eared listeners may have recently picked up the Spatialize space dub remix of Sebastian Mullert’s Ooze project which has already found it’s way into many a chill-out Dj’s festival tool kit. Spatialize now makes its return to the scene with the release of not one, but two albums of accumulated material from the 2010-2013 period.
