Lena Leon
Once described as a “popcorn songwriter,” Lena Leon has a love for music that is uncanny. It was by avoiding learning how to read sheet music that Lena learned that she had a talent that was unique. Her song, "Secret," co-written with artist Amber Skye, made it to the top 12 of the 5th Annual Song Circle/EMI Songwriting Competition. Getting multiple honorable mentions from the 17th annual Billboard World Songwriting Contest for her songs: "Save My Life and "Locked in Love," Lena is also backed with industry approval of her songwriting abilities. Don't let her age fool you! At the age of 24, Lena already has a few TV commercial singing and songwriting credits under her belt, such as Microsoft Windows Phone, Magnum Devotion, and Kayak.com "Nuns". Getting her audio engineering experience as a Live Mix Engineer at WERS 88.9 FM and a bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering from Emerson College, Miss Leon possesses the skills she needs to make all of her demos sound polished and presentable. In addition to being a female music producer, Lena is a talented singer and vocal producer who will always find another harmony or hooky melody to put to her intimate lyrics. She's currently working with a few artists, both co-writing and producing their albums (Amber Skye, Malynda Hale and Gabrielle Taryn), as well as American Idol semi-finalist Lisa Wilson Ritter and professional songwriter Shawn Lopes.
