Nero Argento
NeroArgento is a project created by multi-instrumentalist Alessio Nero Argento (songwriter, producer, programmer and remixer). NeroArgento's music is a concrete mix of grunge rock, metal and electronic music enriched with orchestral nuances, acid, industrial and fx sounds.
The first independent release, an half-Italian half-English sung demo compilation called "Self-control Juice Manifesto", began to catch some attentions since the release of the first single "Trust". The first distribution partnership came on November 2010 with the famous electronic/D&B/rock label FiXT, owned by Klayton of Celldweller.
NeroArgento's music slowly begins to attract attention by appearing on gameplay video trailers and movies of the game "World of Warcraft" on youtube, on the Warcraftmovies.com network and on the famed "Machinima" network, then followed few other appearance on independent gameplay Internet vids and on several official freestyle sports DVDs.
The first videoclip of the song "Trust" got an unexpected success on Internet in few months, thousands of views from all around the world, followed by a second video of the song "Helpless" that helped NeroArgento's music to get spread through many supporters from everywhere, which with their voices, have become soon an important part of its growth. Ettore Rigotti (mainman of the metal band Disarmonia Mundi and well known producer) appears on both videos as guest vocals on choruses.
NeroArgento re-arranged the song "Nausicaa Requiem" for the project called "Imaginary Flying Machines" that includes bands such as Disarmonia Mundi, Blood Stain Child, Destrage and Living Corpse that reinterpret 12 very famous songs taken from the films produced by Studio Ghibli in an extreme metal way. The songs are included in the album "Princess Ghibli", Released in Japan by the big label Media Factory.
"Three Hours Of Sun", NeroArgento's first official album, released worldwide on June 2011 via Coroner Records included re-arranged versions of the demo album "Self-control Juice Manifesto" songs plus some new songs for a total of 11 tracks. The album has been written, recorded, produced and arranged by Alessio in his own studio AExeron and has been mastered by Ettore Rigotti at The Metal House.
"Three hours of sun" Was subsequently realeased in Japan via Media Factory/Radtone music in a brand new special edition including some bonus tracks, like the lucky "Helpless like you - japanese version" Featuring Yoko Hallelujah on choruses ad an exclusive bonus cd only for Tower Records shops.
A brand new only digital ep called "The advertising box" was released on march 2012 via Coroner Records, including some songs featuring Dalay Tarda from The spanish band Rise To Fall, The american Remixer Scorned Society, a mash-up with Celldweller and a crossover track feat. the Italian major rapper/freestyler Rayden.
After the big success of "Princess Ghibli", Alessio took part in the brand new "Princess Ghibli 2" with a new track and two remixes, and "Princess Ghibli 3", the last chapter, with two remixes.
in the early 2012 NeroArgento became also the keyboardist of the melodic death metal band The Stranded, together with Ettore Rigotti, Claudio Ravinale and the pro american skater Elliot Sloan. They released the album "Survivalism Boulevard", worldwide via Coroner Records and in Japan via Media Factory.
He was also a guest in the song and video "Fin Qua" of Rayden, included in the major release "L'uomo senza qualità", the video was promoted on the italian mainstream networks, including the main music tv channels and the RedBull Italy website.
After a little but good and lucky NeroArgento live chapter , Alessio flew to California, to meet new media partners and start to produce the new album "Underworld", with new plans for a new sound, style, look and new influences. With the friend Elliot Sloan Alessio found a new electronic sound, perfect for the creation process of the new songs.
Together with new media partners NeroArgento released on november 26, the brand new videoclip "Underworld", taken from the upcoming album "Underworld", 2013 Coroner Records.
On December 2012 the label FiXT released the album "Trust Remix Compilation" including the best submitted remixes on fixtstore.com during the homonymous remix contest hosted by the record label FiXT on april 2011.
