with the way

i've been living lately

you'd understand

if you knew what I deal with daily

i'm sick of this ignorance

humanity is locked in cages

you pay attention to the cover

but neglect the pages

these demons in my head

are driving me insane

so I numb the pain

with drugs, alcohol and cigarettes

lock it deep inside

and do my best to forget

that we're a ****ing mess

it's sad that we've come to this

if we take this any further

we would be remiss

we should nail this worlds problems

on a crucifix

open up our hearts

and choose to love in bliss
